Educational tool, not professional advice
Before You Sign is an educational software tool. It helps you understand common dealership pricing, financing, and add-on patterns based on information you enter or upload. It is not legal, tax, lending, insurance, or financial advice, and using it does not create any professional or fiduciary relationship between you and us.
We are not a dealership, lender, or licensed adviser
Before You Sign is not a dealership, franchised or independent auto retailer, wholesaler, lender, credit union, mortgage broker, auto broker, insurance producer, credit bureau, credit-repair company, tax preparer, law firm, investment adviser, or government agency. We do not offer, arrange, underwrite, guarantee, or negotiate credit, insurance, or the sale of a vehicle on your behalf.
Estimates only — verify everything
Every number produced by the Service — including Deal Scores, estimated savings, monthly payments, total cost of ownership, and any confidence indicators on extracted document data — is an estimate generated from the information you provided plus generalized assumptions. Estimates may contain errors, may not reflect current market conditions or your specific credit profile, and should be independently verified against your final signed paperwork, your lender's Truth-in-Lending disclosures, and current dealer or manufacturer pricing before you commit to anything.
No guaranteed outcomes
We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in any specific savings, an approved loan, a lower APR, a better trade-in value, a particular negotiation outcome, or that a dealership or lender will accept any offer you make. Your final financing, taxes, fees, and insurance are determined by your dealer, your lender, and your state and local authorities.
Deal Score is one input, not a market appraisal
The Deal Score reflects the structure of the offer you entered relative to general patterns (price vs. advertised, financing terms, fee levels, add-on stacking, and similar factors). It is not a certified vehicle appraisal, credit decision, or investment recommendation. Use it as one of several inputs in your decision.
